Beers. & Co. 93 & 95 Maiden Lane. New York. 1871. Period 1/4 leather binding with title stamped in gilt central ornament on front board. Complete with 26 maps, all with original full hand color. Overall, in VG+, clean condition. Binding is rubbed and worn, joints cracked, spine leather mostly perished as typical for these 19th century county atlases, cover boards detached. The largest folding map of Greenfield Centre is torn, but complete, little to no paper loss, as seen in the photo. This huge map could be neatly repaired with archival tape with a little patience, if desired. All the other maps are intact, with some soiling, mostly in the margins. Please refer to the photos which clearly illustrate how nice an example this is. Folio, measures 13" x 16". 52 pages. A scarce Massachusetts county atlas. Many single page maps as well as double page, plus extra large Shelburne Falls and super large Greenfield Center. Towns include Ashfield, Bernardston, Coleraine, Conway, Deerfield, Gill, Greenfield, Hawley, Leverett, Leyden, Montague, New Salem, Northfield, Orange, Rowe, Shelburne, Sunderland, Warwick, Whately, etc. If there is a specific map you would like a picture of, just ask.
