Description: A hard to find Reading, Mich 1872 German Hop Bitters semi cabin bottle with faint hop leaves and peened out Dr.Warners...GERMAN / HOP / BITTERS / 1872 boldly emb in sunken shoulder window panels...READING MICH boldly emb on sunken front panel....faint hop leaves on 2nd panel....peened out DR.WARNERS on 3rd side but you can still make out some of the letters.....Hand blown in mold, bimal....applied tapered collar with ring....lighter amber.....square with sloped roof shoulders....9 1/2"tall.....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean bottle with no haze. It has been professionally tumbled to remove some light haze. It has 2 tiny copper bb's stuck in corner from when it was tumbled. The embossing is nice and bold (except the hop leaves & DR.WARNERS which were peened out of the mold)....
