The map is well documented with a copyright of 1855 by J. Colton in small print at the bottom of the map, although it is from the 1874 edition of Colton's General Atlas, published in New York, a copy of the atlas title page is included for authenticity. It is not mounted nor matted, being sold as a single sheet as seen in the main pic. Size: The page measures 13 1/2 x 17 1/2 inch (35x44cm), as seen in the main picCondition: Good, original handcoloring as issued with text on reverse.
