Lake's Illustrated Atlas of Cuyahoga County Ohio, published in Philadelphia by Titus & Simmons, 1874. A copy of the title page is included with the map for authenticity. Shown are land owners, railroads, post offices, highways, townships, churches, schools, creeks and other details. It has original handcoloring and is blank on reverse, overall a nicely preserved example that would frame up well. Size: The map image measures approximately 13 by 14 inches, although the map extends beyond the neat lines, and is on a 14 by 16" page with a margin all around for framing. Condition: It is in Good condition for its age with a strong impression, bright hand coloring, blank on reverse and printed on a heavy page with the binding side untrimmed. There is light tonal ageing, light edgewear and a few handling smudges, mainly around the margins, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual map.
