Description: Very large Catholic family Bible. Measures 12 1/2" tall X 10 1/2" wide and 5" thick. Printed in 1876. Black tooled leather covers. The rear hinge was rebuilt (5th. picture) and the front hinge repaired (6th. picture). Spine was repaired and reinforced on top (2nd. & 5th. pictures). Both hinges were reinforced on the inside with book tape. Covers are firmly attached and open and close easily. It had clasps at one time. Exposed to moisture in the past, covers are slightly warped and pages have moisture stains, everything is still legible. No loose pages. No entries on family pages. Many beautiful illustrations.
