1880 MASTERPIECE French embroidery antique beads beadwork Victorian black silk

Description: ~*~Hello and thank you for looking ~*~ *~ *~ I found this masterpiece in Embroidery on my last buying trip to France a few weeks ago. I feel so privileged to have even gotten to hold them. I found a set and I'm selling them individually , to view the others simply search my store for the word " masterpiece" and they will appear ~This piece dates from c 1880 I tried every which way to photograph however with digital photography , black can be difficult to get right ~ I guarantee, this textile is 1000 times more beautiful in person ( I have a 30 day return policy :) if you THINK you would like it, you will LOVE it ~ This piece was handmade to be used as an embelishment on a very very expensive gown. It may also have come from an embroidery sample book as there are small holes in the top corners ~ The work is truly incredible. It's a combination of black embroidery with tiny sparkly black beads that bring the pattern to life as it catches the light, it's quite a show! . The ground cloth is a heavy weight, sturdy silk. This textile would be amazing framed, used on a gown , for study or for decorative display, dare I say a decorative pillow ??? It's some of the best embroidery work I've ever found in 25 years ~ black on black, elegant ~ MEASUREMENTS : This panel measures approximately40 inches long by 22 inches wide ~ CONDITION : This stunning piece is in as found condition ~ it's unused and most certainly has been kept extremely well.
