Free US Shipping on Purchases of 5 or More Maps and Prints Description: It is an authentic antique print approximately 138 years old from Le Tour du Monde, Nouveau Journal des Voyages, edited by Edouard Charton, a copy of the 1880 title page is included for documentation. It is not matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as shown in the main pic. Le Tour du Monde ran from 1860-1914 and was a popular travel journal sold in bookstores as well as in the kiosks of railroad stations. It was dedicated to travel and exploration ranging from the discovery of the source of the Nile to the conquest of the South Pole. Size: The dimensions of the print area between the neat lines measures 6 1/4 by 9 1/4 inches (16x34cm) on a page measuring 8 by 11 3/4" (20x30cm) with a margin all around as seen in the main pic. Condition: The print is in Very Good condition with text or images on reverse, printed on a bright cotton rag page. There are a couple of minor light spots on the margin, otherwise it is very clean on a bright page that would frame up well, see the pics for more on the condition. The pics are of the actual print.
