Description: This is an 1880's era amber glass color kerosene oil lamp in the Stanbury pattern as shown on page 286 of Thuro lamp book #1. Lamp is in excellent condition and approximately 8" to top of the brass collar. There are a couple small nicks on the base as shown. Lamp was manufactured by the Hemingray Glass Co. from Covington, KY. I have been researching this company for years and they made several patterns of oil lamps besides their insulators, bottles, fruit jars, etc. Please check my other upcoming auctions featuring oil lamps and other early american pressed glass - EAPG. I will combine shipping on multiple purchases.
