Description: in 1873 Dr. Ray Pierce, a Buffalo eclectic medical doctor Organized a dispensary of “medical gentlemen” then in 1878 opened The Invalids' and Tourists' Hotel in Buffalo for the treatment of chronic diseases. In 1879 he merged the Consulting Department of the World's Dispensary with the hotel, and established the World's Dispensary Medical Association. Up for sale is a small advertising glass medicine dose cup. Embossed with the words "WORLDS DISPENSARY MEDICAL ASSOCIATION" and has embossed markings for TABLE, DESSERT, TEA spoons markings.
