This is a lot of 51 different issues of The Academy: A Weekly Review of Literature, Science, and Art magazine from 1881. This lot includes the whole year except for the July 23rd and the October 1st issue. This lot is only missing these 2 issues to make it a complete year. These magazines were published in London. This lot of magazines features great articles, information, and nice vintage ads. This lot of magazines is in overall poor condition showing wear due to age. The pages of these magazines are very dry and are very fragile. These magazines are subject to heavy flaking and paper loss. Some of the front covers and the back covers of these issues are detached. The front covers of these issues have library stamps near the top. Please look at the photos and ask any questions you might have. We have been on eBay for over 12 years!
