Description: I have for sale a souvenir embroidered ribbon from the 1886 Minneapolis Industrial Exposition. The ribbon looks to be in original condition and it is 6 7/8 by 2 3/4 inches. The exposition was held from August 23 until October 2nd. The ribbon was made by the Wm. M. Regan & company of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ribbon at the top shows a red, white & blue shield with stars and stripes. In the center it shows the exposition building. The ribbon reads WOVEN IN THE - MINNEAPOLIS EXPOSITION - BUILDING ERECTED - 1886-1886. The 1892 the Republican National convention was held in this exposition building.
