Description: This listing is for an amazing GEM BU 1886-P Morgan silver $1 coin struck at the Philadelphia, PA mint. It's graded MS 64 by NGC and is in an older NGC slab holder! This a very interesting specimen you can pour over for hours checking out all the imperfections. It was struck from a pair of very WEAK DIES that had a lot of FILL, WEAR & POLISH MARKS. It also appears to be a CLOSED '6' VAM and there are DIE CRACKS visible on the obverse and reverse as well as a DOUBLED LEGEND and RIM DENTICLES! It's always difficult photographing extreme closeups on these coins but we took as many different pictures of the anomalies as we could. For collectors of error and VAM coins, this is an excellent GEM BU specimen that will make a nice addition to any collection. Enlarge the pics and judge for yourself! NOTE: The owner of this coin did not have it graded for attributes but there are so many for this issue - and on this coin - that it may be worth resubmission for attributes. This is a terrific 19th Century US silver coin that will make a super addition to your collection! This graded MS Morgan silver $1 coin is being offered at a competitive price and is an absolute must for any collector! If you want to own or add quality Silver $1 coins but couldn't afford to, this is a great way to get the ball rolling before prices go completely haywire!
