Description: 1890’s Thomas P “TP” Silverwood cabinet card. Published by Curtiss of Madison. Silverwood was an early Wisconsin Badgers football player. He is credited with helping start Green Bay organized football. Silverwood played on the original Green Bay town football team after Wisconsin University. Silverwood is pictured with the 1895 Badgers team used by Wikipedia. There is also info on the internet about Silverwood’s involvement in Green Nay football with images.
