The shell is black silk taffeta, the lining is ivory silk satin. The center front panel is black lace over ivory silk satin, this panel closes flush with hook and eyes. The front is decorated with strips of black lace the cross over the shoulder to the back. The ends of the lace are finished with a hanging pom pom tassels. This detail is repeated at the French cuffs. Sleeves are puffed at the shoulder and taper to the wrist. The body of the coat hangs straight from the bust and open below the waist. This is a remarkable find, especially in this size and condition! Condition: Very Good Condition Details: The ivory silk lining is threadbare and beginning to shatter along high friction points like the cuffs and behind the neck, it is also heavily stained with a large watermark along the hem. The lining also has a 2" hole on the wearers inside right, it goes through the silk and the fill. The exterior presents very nicely, there are a few pin sized holes and scuffs on the wearers right near the lace, there is a small hole at the top of the wearer's right cuff.
