Description: Antique 1890-1900 Wave Crest Jewelry Box by C.F.Monroe with the Helmschmied Swirl. It is a form of art glass opal ware. It was originally used as a jewerly dresser box, but it would make an excellent trinket box. The color is a creamy milk glass white with beautiful petite peach flowers. Clasp is tight and the original satin lining inside the bottom has tears. Measures 2 1/2" tall and 4" wide. In excellent condition, no cracks, chips, or damage.
