Description: Antique 1890-1900 Wavecrest Jewelry Box by C.F.Monroe with the Helmschmied Swirl. It is a form of art glass opal ware with a faint pink tint. It was originally used as a jewerly dresser box, but it would make an excellent trinket box. The pink flowers have a hand applied dots to give a raised effect. Clasp is tight and the original satin lining inside the bottom has no tears. Measures 2 1/2" tall and 3" wide. In excellent condition, no cracks, chips, or damage.
