Description: Details + Condition: Scarce antique Krewe of Rex sterling silver pin from 1891. The pin / favor is in the shape of a crown with the word "Carnival" and "91" signifying the year 1891, on the bottom. On the back is stamped "Sterling" for sterling silver. This was a throw or "favor" handed out by Krewe of Rex, which marched in the Rex Parade on the last day of the Mardi Gras celebration. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions!
