This is the 1891H bronze one cent coin. The coin, which is graded MS 64 RB (red Brown) by NGC, depicts the national arms with two men flanking it with the date below on the obverse. The reverse shows the denomination in the center surrounded by the legend "BRITISH NORTH BORNEO." The coin has the mint mark "H" on the bottom of the obverse indicating that it was minted in Birmingham England. It is beautiful, clean, problem free, with a nice red brown coloring and great eye appeal. It is KM# 2 weighing 9.25 grams and measuring ~29.6 mm in diameter. It is graded MS 64 RB (red Brown) by NGC and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. Coins of low denomination such as this are rather scarce in such a nice state of preservation since they would have been heavily circulated.
