Description: Being offered is a vintage, antique, cabinet card photo photograph image. The image shows what looks like a large family along with their staff. There is a young man who is dressed like a chauffer. There are flags draped along the railings so this was for a 4th of July celebration. The back has written information identifying the image. It is dated July 4th 1892, Morewood Avenue, Sunnyside. I researched some of this information and the street is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Sunnyside was the name of a neighborhood in Pittsburgh. This image did come out of a collection of estate photos from Pennsylvania. The image does show age and wearing. There are edge rips and tears which do not run into the major portion of the image. There are stains, soiling, surface scuffs, abrasions, and scratches. Despite the age related wearing issues the image remains crisp and detailed. The image is approx. 6 15/16" by 4 15/16". I am not sure how to grade something like this so have taken close-up pics to help assess the items condition, what you see is what you get.Please feel free to contact me with any questions about my items.
