Verner Dahl and written in ink his name and Mar 16, 1916 - Approx 5.50" x 2.5" - Fun to see what words are included, since there are so few, for example mob: a rabble crowd or mistress: A woman who governs, a concubine, a wife* Swedish Psalm Book tiny book approx 3.5" x 2.25" - The cover is wrecked and missing first pages, pages are darkened, probably moldy and some pages the corners are turned - printed in another language, thinking Swedish, hand written on the inside front and back covers Both Books are kind of a mess, but the writing inside with the dates, makes these a treasure!!!To have a complete dictionary with only 45,800 words is amazing!!!! I think Webster added that many words to the dictionary in 2023 alone!
