With the bookplate of John Lubbock, Lord Avebury, the banker, politician, philanthropist, scientist, polymath, and trustee of the British Museum. Top and bottom of spine frayed, some splitting/fraying to front joint and a touch to rear, some corner wear. Pages yellowed with light scattered foxing, a few edge-chips, minor blemishes. Binding has incipient cracking, remains reasonably firm. Good plus/VG minus.
