Description: Working antique Round Oak wood-burning, cast iron, pot belly stove (or parlor, schoolhouse stove). Purchased from a local antique stove restorer and used for many years. On the front two doors is "P. D. Beckwith Dowagiac, Mich." This pot belly stove comes with a chrome finial, stove handle, mica inserts, stove cleaner and thermometer. We are selling this stove because we are past the age of chopping, hauling and storing wood. It will be sorely missed as it warms the house very nicely and to a degree that is difficult to achieve with space heaters and central heating. The mica inserts that are currently in use could stand to be replaced, there is some rust (see photos) and it may be necessary to reweld a crack as a small amount of smoke has recently begun to escape (see photos).
