Comprising the story of the incredible Fram expedition led by Dr Nansen from 1893 to 1896, in which he tried to reach the geographical North Pole by harnessing the north-east current of the Arctic Ocean. After eighteen months, they both left the ship and carried on the expedition with a team of Samoyed dogs and sledges to reach the Pole. Although they did not reach it, they did reach the Farthest North latitude of 86°13.6′N.
