Description: Maker: On the reverse of both pieces of this beautiful Limoges cup and saucer set is the green underglaze H&Co backstamp number 11 of Haviland & Co that was in use between 1888 and 1896. The handwritten date "'98" is on the back of the saucer. Design: A talented artist produced a lovely design of finely detailed white daisies surrounded by green ferns against a background of pure white and very thin porcelain. Condition: The set is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, repairs, crazing or wear. Size: The cup is 3 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/8 inches tall. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches wide. The set weighs a mere 5.2 ounces. This exceptional cup and saucer would make a lovely addition to any collection of Limoges or other fine porcelain.
