According the latest Feldman Auction Catalog (2): Earliest known Russian Port Arthur postmarks are on the two postcard: first one has Port Arthur CD(type IB)15.V.1898 and German receiving CD 11.7.98 (New Style) and second one has Port Arthur CD(type I) 1.VI.1898 and German receiving CD 23.7.98. The both of them were delivered via Russian P.O. Shanghai and then via Hong Kong to Germany. This is a new discovered Postcard.It is the third of Earliest known: This is Russian stationery 3kop. was applied by Russian ordinary 1 kop. stamp for international rate and canceled with the postmark (type I) 16.VI.1898 (Old Style) of Port Arthur post office, then it was applied by German ordinary 10pf. stamp and canceled with the postmark /N40/ 3.6.98 (New Style) by the Marine Post Office of German SMS “Deutschland”. The postcard arrived to Kiel Germany on 11.7.98(New Style).
