While American Poems/Poets are included (in fact, the back of the cards depicts Longfellow's Cambridge, MA home), British/Irish/Scots Poets are also featured to a great degree ... so it is a great learning experience and fun to see the Poems that Folks in 1898 considered as part of the "everyday repertoire".
