Description: ORIGINAL 18th CENTURY FRENCH ETCHING A LANDSCAPE - WITH A HUT, A BRIDGE, A STREAM AND TREES Etching by PIERRE FRANCOIS LAURENT (1739-1806), after a design by Francois Boucher. Dates to 1755. Laurent is a well-listed artist with an impressive c.v., I attach a screenshot of the main events. Signed at bottom right, with Boucher's name inscribed bottom left. Size of the platemark area is approx 10.5 x 18.5 centimetres, with adequate margins beyond. CONDITION. Good. The platemark is intact and visible, with good margins beyond. Printed on "laid" paper. The papermaker's watermark/filigrane is present, a bunch of grapes. As you can see from my reverse photo, a few handling marks commensurate with age including a printer's wrinkle toward the top. Doesn't spoil it, in my opinion. See my photo on the lightbox. ***ALL MY ITEMS ARE SENT - UK & WORLDWIDE - BY TRACKED ROYAL MAIL SERVICE, FOR EVERYONE'S PEACE OF MIND. *** I COMBINE ITEMS FOR SHIPPING ***
