There is shelfwear in particular to the spine showing pealing and splitting but holding OK. Both inside hinges have been reinforced with clear archival tape, with give remaining. There are no previous owners' names or inscriptions. There is no foxing. There are no missing, damaged, creased, or loose pages. Complete and original.This volume appears to be an unstated volume 2 as there is another volume identical to this but published by Charles Taylor, also 1901, with the pages numbered 1 to 192 with presumably different photographs.
