Description: An original 1902* photograph print showing Loch Katrine from the East, Scotland. Ideal for framing. Print Source: A 1902 Gazetteer of Scotland. 121 years old. Loch Katrine is a freshwater loch in the Trossachs area of the Scottish Highlands, east of Loch Lomond, within the historic county and registration county of Perthshire and the contemporary district of Stirling. The loch is about 8 miles long and 1 mile wide at its widest point, and runs the length of Strath Gartney. Condition: Excellent condition but shows the wear you would expect from an antique print. The back of the print is blank. The photos give a good indication of condition. Please note this is a photograph that was printed in an antique book. The paper is thick but is not photographic paper. Size: Photograph print is approx 26 cms x 16.8 cms including white border and is sold unframed and unmatted. Please note that this is an original antique print, not a reproduction or modern copy. *This is the date it was produced in the book but the photograph could be earlier. Perhaps late Victorian.
