Description: This is an Antique Beau Brummel soap dispenser made by West Disinfecting Co. New York. Beautiful nickel plated brass with an embossed glass orb that holds the soap. You mount this to a wall or on top of an old porcelain sink and tilt it to dispense the soap. It is all compete .It is good condition but the brass does show some corrosion. This piece was used in gas stations, hotels and train stations. These were manufactured in 1903. There is a small dent to lid on top and also some scuffing. Cleaned glass on the outside. I left the powdered soup inside. I actually tried it. And worked well. So I decided to leave it in there.
