Off-setting on front end-page from bookplate. Finger-soiling found on bottom corners throughout most of text-block. Light toning exhibited on edges of leaves. Binding intact. Please see photos. Clothier Franklin Edminster (1865 - 1932) was head of the Architectural Department of Pratt Institute. He received his training in architecture at Boston Normal Art School. Following his graduation in 1887, he went to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, where he founded the Architectural Department and had been supervisor for the forty-three years since its organization. As honorary president of the Pratt Architectural Club, he advised and guided many students. A specialist in construction work, he was the author of several books, including one on the use of structural steel and an important textbook, “Architectural Drawing.” Later edition. Clean contents.
