Description: 1908 DEAKIN & FRANCIS Narrow Sterling Silver Engine Turned Card Case Pre-owned. From an estate. I believe it is a smaller card case than you would normally find. Looks too long to be a match safe. Engine-turned lines design and flowers at corners on each side. Lid is hinged. Outside of lid is hallmarked with Lion Passant and 'g' date letter code. Inside rim is marked "D&F", anchor, Lion Passant, and "g" date letter. Overall scuffs and scratches. I don't see and dents. Case measures 3 5/16" x 1 3/4". Weighs 56.8 grams.
