Description: 1908 Liberty Nickel set in necklace setting (not gold) . Well preserved and uncirculated since the 1960s and found in my late mothers jewelry box in a non smoker, non pet home.. This Setting is stamped W.L.P according to my research, it stands for Adolph A. Weinman who was a famous jewelry designer in the 60s who set many coins and other items in these type of settings in the 60s. Some of his items are gold plated, (no guarantees on this item). Weinman also designed the Mercury Dime and the Walking Liberty Half Dollar. This coin is sold in 'as is condition' with no guarantees of a grade. Does not include chain. Its a nice piece to add to your jewelry box or coin collection!
