Description: 1909-11 E254 Colgan's Chips -BARNEY REILLY (Chicago White Sox) Obscure Major Leaguer whose entire Major League career was 12 games for the 1909 White Sox. One of my favorite all time sets these small cards were included in small tins of round gum "chips" with a card at the bottom of each tin. One of the most exhaustive sets of the day exceeded only by the T206 set in its scope and number of subjects, the e254 set was constantly being updating producing many levels of rarity and variations as they would update teams for some players and drop others and add more as needed.
