The color is very even and just slightly darkened from the original, with none of the "woodgrain" planchet issues sometimes found on early S Mint dates. No spots, stains, significant marks or other distractions. Given the relatively wide variation in color commonly found on this date, does not look too far from a full Red based upon other RB & RD specimens I reviewed. A note here regarding PCGS images: I have noted that the images shown under the Cert verification app tend to make many of this particular date look brighter and less toned than a conventional image, tending to "hide" woodgrain toning if it exists on the coin. A review of a number of recent Heritage offerings will bear this out. That is not the case with this example - I shoot a couple of additional images over this weekend to prove that point if anyone has a concern.
