Description: 1910's Tin Litho Bulldog Matchstick Thermometer Advertising Decor / Sign, Kane PA Commonly used to showcase and advertise for a store or business, this tin litho thermometer represents some of the best of early 1900's advertising. The bulldog adds another dimension to the piece, used to hold matchsticks or toothpicks. The thermometer completes this early piece. Provided by, "Stoll & Peterson" of "Kane, PA" Pennsylvania. Difficult to read what the middle words are, however, I will let you be the judge. Dimensions: 8" x 5.75" Condition: most glaring issue is the absence of the calendar, the left hand side of piece should have calendar.
