Description: A very fine, full set of 1912 Barbados stamps, featuring King George V and the colonial seal. Perforations, colouring and centring are all excellent. On the reverse sides there are very light traces of previous hinges. This set includes a slightly different shade of the 1d stamp. But I can't say for certain that one is the 'normal' red and one is scarlet. There's definitely a slight difference but my abilities don't stretch to confident identification of particular shades of a colour. The extra 1d stamp is included nonetheless, making this the complete set of 11 stamps plus the extra 1d shade. So, it's 12 stamps in total. It's a very attractive set of Barbados stamps.
