Description: Original 1917 copy of Christmas Tales in Flanders which is beautifully illustrated by Jean De Bosschere with 12 color plates and some other black & white and two-tone illustrations. The book is overall in very good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. The covers have some mild wear with some rubbing and dulling to the spine. The binding is good and sound. There are some penciled numbers to the top corner of the front pastedown and a tiny spot of damage to the top corner of the back pastedown. The interior is toned from age but mostly nice and clean with just the very occasional light bit of foxing or grubbiness. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, minor stain or marking, tiny chip or tear, etc. Generally though, it's a good copy. The book measures approximately 10 7/8 inches by 8 1/4 inches and is 145 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
