Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Illinois Bunn Special 21J. Cased in an Illinois gold filled case - well worn and used with brassing on the midcase and the patterned sections of the covers, crown, etc. back screws smoothly. Front also screws down fully but can be tricky to start sometimes. Front glass is plastic. Gorgeous double sunk enamel dial with minor wear and a small spidering near the center. Purple hands with blue seconds. Winds, sets and runs nicely over 24H. Times out running a little slow on the machine. No guarantee of condition or operation due to age and unknown service history. Would recommend an overhaul if planning to run the watch regularly. Serial 3381553 dates the watch to 1918.
