Description: This ball was used in the 1918 World Series Game 6 of Red Sox versus Chicago Cubs heavily inscribed by Babe Ruth with his nickname Sport at the time before he was known to be Babe Ruth. This ball was the last out of the 1918 World Series Game 6 and was Babe Ruths personal ball for his own collection which he got signed by Sox Manager Ed Barrow, Team Owner Harry Frazee and Treasurer U. J. Herman. The name Sport was his early nickname before he started hitting home runs. Most historical ball ever used in Red Sox history as this was the last ball that they played with before they had the 86-year curse without winning any game after the team owner sold Babe Ruth to the Yankees.
