Very few were signed or dated. This one is not signed. The painting features a Venice harbor waterway scene with buildings, dock, gondola and sailboats. The painting colors have aged over time and the surface may have been lightly varnished which may be responsible for the old bubble surface. If you look closely, you can see that the fine detail in the painting. Beautifully painted in the original solid wood frame ready to hang. There is stain loss to the painting’s bottom side.
