Description: Up for auction is a truly RARE (maybe one-of-a-kind at this point) guaranteed original vintage I believe 1930s DuPont Duco Album for Automobile Refinishers. This very thick book has 48 different color sample panels that list colors for the UPPER, LOWER, and STRIPE color combinations. The panels move independently, so you can make various color combos. Each panel is felt-backed and measures 2.5" x 6". The book measures 7.25" x 5.5" and is fastened together by a 4-screw mount, which allows you to remove any paint samples and put them back. The cover has an incredible embossed art deco cover! The book was manufactured by W. J. Whte Co., Detroit. This is a high-quality, individually- produced, serious reference work for the classic automobile historian or owner, or just a great addition to your library of paint/automobilia. The book is in GREAT condition considering the age, which is probably close to 90-100 years old!!! Please reference photos for the best indication of the condition. There are reflections in the photos of the paint samples. These reflections are of me photographing the book and are NOT in the book. This came out of an old automobile mechanics garage in Los Angeles, and had been stored in a drawer for over 50 years. Here is a truly rare opportunity to own this incredibly rare autombile collectible. I can pretty much guarantee another one won't come up for sale at all and certainly not in this conditon!!! Thank you. FREE PRIORITY SHIPPING INCLUDED!
