Description: CIRCA – 1920 MOJONNIER Milk Sample Testing Bottle. Dairies could increase the amount of milk to sell by watering down the milk. So, a sample of milk was taken and stored in the MOJONNIER sample bottle at the Creamery until the Cream Content was determined. This particular bottle has a place on the backside to record the sample number. This number was used to track samples. There is a faint 85 on this bottle. Some bottle had frosted circles to record the number, others had no place to record the number, so it was written on the black stopper or elsewhere on the bottle.Approximately: 5 1/2” T Pint BottleCondition: Very Good. No chips etc. Minor Calcium stains. Please see and enlarge Photos as they are part of the Condition & provide detail
