Moser & Cie. was founded by independent watchmaker Heinrich Moser in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1828. Notable early clients of H. Moser & Cie. included Russian princes and members of the Russian Imperial Court; Vladimir Lenin also owned a Moser watch. After Moser died in 1874, the company was sold, and its business in Russia was expropriated in 1918 due to the October Revolution. This is a fantastic watch, real piece of history, this one is good working order and chrono functions are working. The watch was serviced in august 2021 from that time wind up once per week on collecors meeting. I cannot warranty water resistance depth due to the age of the watch. The band is old stock handmade.The circa 31mm case is chromed and have stainless steel back with serial 111129 ( after my research production of this watch was between 1910 and 1918). The dial is enameled and have some hairlines visible (enamel crackings). The movement is Valjoux 13 and work properly without issues.
