Description: 1920s Vintage Carved & Painted Wood Speed Boat Surfer Water Skis Wake Tow Board. This Rare piece of Antique American Ingenuity is a part of Wooden Speed & Pleasure boat history! This is fresh out of a New York Fingerlakes region estate! It’s in amazing untouched original condition. The board measures 19 1/2” wide, 11 1/2” long & 1 1/2” thick at top, 1” thick at the bottom. The body & handles are carved oak. The old silver paint with the stylized orange logo are in amazing condition for the age with great patina! The craftsman that made this decades ago did high quality work, the handles are mounted with a single heavy duty iron carriage bolt and everything is still sturdy on the board, it weighs in at a hefty 4 pounds not including the original Manila tow rope, I’m not sure how long the rope is? But it’s still strong and usable! All in all whether or not if you want to use or display it with your antique boats? It’s truly rare, unique and a one of a kind piece of American folk art!
