Undated; originally published in 1922 in London, this is the first American edition published around that time. In great condition overall! Original publisher cloth binding shows some wear including a library catalog sticker pasted to the spine, some rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, some general wear around the extremities including bumping to the corners and minor fraying to the spine extremes, and some rubbing and soiling to the page edges. Otherwise this is a well-preserved antique volume! Internally, this volume is in great shape, with both boards attached to the binding and all page groupings secure. Ex-library volume with bookplates and library markings visible to the front and rear endpapers, as well as the tile page and copyright page. Otherwise this volume is clean and free from signatures and inscriptions. The text block of this volume is clean throughout. Although there is some typical age-related toning to the pages, some light soiling and foxing scattered throughout, and some gentle corning creasing, this volume is otherwise clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings.
