Description: 1923 Antique Elgin Open-face Pocket Watch Runs great! The face has an Art Deco style. This watch was given to me by my mother when I was in High school in the 1970's. It has been in my jewelry box ever since. It is my great uncle Earl Allan Doyle's watch. He was born 1889. Please Note his Intial's EAD are engraved on the back. When I looked up the Serial Number 25220506 it shows that it was made in 1923. So he would have been in his 30's when he got this watch. He lived in Chicago. I have attached the specifications that I got from Elgin. Chances are if you are looking at this auction you know what is here. The watch works great. Just need to wind it every day, once a day to keep it going. It's been keeping accurate time for me this past month since I have pulled it out. I don't have any information on the chain. It was on the watch when my mother gave it to me. Shipping with be via USPS flat rate small box with the required packaging to protect it in shipping. Shipping to 50 United State only unless you contact me prior to bidding for international shipping. I have some other older watches that I will be listing also that were given to me by my mother. But this one is the oldest.
