Description: An excellent example of a classic USA stamp: the 1923 five dollars 'Head of Freedom' issue. Condition, as per the photos, is unused, mint, with great colouring, centring and perforations. I'm no expert on gum but I tried to show the reverse of the stamp in the right light to see the gum. I'm unsure if it's been hinged previously. I'll err on the side of caution and say 60/40 yes. But if it was hinged there's barely a trace. A lovely stamp.
