Description: PCGS 1925 Lincoln wheat cent struck on a silver dime planchet. The planchet is the silver alloy planchet intended for striking into a dime, but was instead struck with the cent dies. Off-metal wheat cent on dime planchets are scarce as an error type, but this is a very rare date, with an estimated 1-2 known for this year. PCGS VF details damage. The coin has scuffy scratches on the obverse and reverse, but has an overall decent appearance, with mostly minor scratches scattered across the coin. Also, the coin has retoned to a degree, adding to the appearance.
