Description: This is a beautiful antique painting. It was painted in the Cincinnati women’s club in 1925. I believe the frame was reused from another painting, but the signature has been verified as being Wilbur G. Adam. Wilbur G. Adam (July 23, 1898 – March 23, 1973) was an American painter and illustrator who divided his career between Cincinnati and Chicago. He was known for his portraiture and landscapes of western United States. In the latter part of his career he focused on Biblical illustrations. The name of the painting I can’t read as it’s missing some of the letters, but the artist name is legible. The frame has some minor things, but overall it’s quick clean. The painting is quite well done the canvases, a little bit loose towards the top of it. Take a look at all the photos to see general condition. This came from a woman’s estate who traveled the world.
